Amazing photographs of Obama
From Callie Shell at TIME Magazine. I hadn't seen many of these, they are absolutely gorgeous.

I hit show more and didn't get more. Just the same three at the beginning.

Try it again; I got it all the way to the end, and they are moving and beautiful. As I saw the tear-stained faces of young girls looking up at him, the thought came to me: We are going to do this!
There is also a lovely picture of him and Michelle looking tired and so "together" -- I can't imagine a similar sense of intimacy with the McCain's -- too bad for them, really.

May that first shot there on the TIME cover be as relevant next Wednesday morning.

I love the picture of Barack and Michelle sitting together on the morning of the NH primary. Heck, I love all these pictures! Thanks so much for the link.

Your timing may have been off by five days, but the idea was spot-on!

I love the shot of the two little boys--couldn't take their eyes off of him. Made me cry. Great photos.

These photos personalize Obama (and Michelle) as no others I've seen have done. The one in which he is automatically cleaning up an ice cream spill is amazing -- Elitist? A picture is worth a thousand words.
Thank you so much for posting these.

That was the one that really struck me. It's the same idea for me as most people referring to him as Barack. Takes a single mom to raise a man who can be down-to-earth while still being exceptional in so many ways.

Beautiful photographs. Thanks so much! These are the best photos of Obama and his journey that I've ever seen. I hope you publish them in a book.

These are great! I love the first-person captioning as well, it's interesting how much this photographer seems to have been able to show us his human side when most campaign reporters I've read remark about how "remote" he seems. I think that's because reporters are trying to interact, while photographers try to observe.
I love the photo of his shoes. From here on out, I resolve to never ever poke fun at a candidate's choice of footwear, not matter how outrageously expensive it may be. Clearly a pair of sturdy, comfortable shoes are as important as a firm handshake when you're running for President.

Thanks for the slideshow - it was like my senior year yearbook! Pure nostalgia.
Did you see the photos from the rainy rally in Pennsylvania yesterday? He sure did look dreamy in that black rainjacket (but, good grief, could the man get a pair of jeans that were made this decade? I swear, they looked like acid wash. j/k).

The most striking picture to me is the one with the mother who lost her son in Iraq. That picture just says so much about what this campaign means.

Stunning photos. The two young supporters - it took a moment before I caught the tear rolling down her cheek. There's so much love in this campaign.

I like the one of him sleeping on the bus.
I've often wondered how & when (& if) he actually sleeps...

Ditto all the above, plus -- love the one of Michelle brushing off his coat before he announces!
Thank you!
