Geeks Ahoy!
My Firefox has been crashing intermittently all day. I use 3.0.14 (I haven't upgraded, yet).
Apparently, Mozilla downloaded a security fix, automatically, on September 10. Thirty-six files were upgraded, but one, "AccessibleMarshall.dll", seems to be the problem.
Anyone else experiencing crashes?

Sorry, I can't help you out there, Ellen. Other than to update all fixes and anti-virus and then run another check.
Although, you might want to check out pcpitstop.com
It's a good fixer-upper site.

Thanks.
It looks like it's my problem, alone. Will probably just roll my computer back to a few days ago.

Are you on either XP or Vista and running Firefox as a limited user? Try running it as an administrator.
You're a little light on details. How do you know that AccessibleMarshal.dll is the problem? (By the way, there is only one "L" in Marshal, so if you have two, there are other problems involved.)

Thanks -- and you're right, my spelling was careless.
The crash report was (it was in TEMP and seems to be gone now) lengthy but started out with objections to AccessibleMarshal.dll -- probably shouldn't have assumed facts which call for an interpretation that is way above my pay grade.
Anyhoo--
Since rolling back to Sunday's settings I've had no crashes.
P.S. Was running XP(SP3) as Administrator.

Just noticed ---
You're referring to Firefox's "Limited User" Account.
I didn't know there was such a thing but intend to check it out.

I don't know if this was a similar problem, or not: I was using Safari this morning, not Firefox, when a window popped up that said "the application Firefox has quit, unexpectedly..." Since I wasn't using Firefox at the time, and hadn't for days, that seemed surprising.
