Please help me pass
Im taking a politics course and my teacher has given us debate topics to which I have to stand by the pro side of each issue
The topics are:
1. Primaries should be abolished in favor of stronger national conventions
2. National parties should eliminate "super delegates."
3. All delegates should be awarded on a "winner takes all" basis.
4. All states should hold their primaries on the same to create a one-day super "national" primary day.
5. The major television networks should be required to cover more aspects of the national conventions.

I imagine that coming up with opinions is part of the assignment. If we just did this for you, we'd be cheating you out of a real education.
Sorry. Some of us teach college. We know better.

Try using 'the google' to learn about each of the topics; concentrate on the positives (for the assignment only) and then come back and tell us all the pros AND cons of each -->
That should have been the assignment anyway. What is wrong with teachers who try to KEEP students from thinking?
But you really need to do your own homework, honey.

BTW, having an assignment to give one side of an argument that you may or may not believe in sounds more like law school...okay, it sounds like politics too, but it shouldn't.

I remember having to do a similar thing in an 8th grade debate class. I had to be on the side that argued why the Vietnam war was bad and I couldn't come up w/ any reasons. We didn't have the internet back then in the dark ages, and if I remember correctly, I failed the assignment. I've come a long way, baby!
Do your own homework, little one! With the internet it should be a piece of cake!

Interview your local political leaders for their opinions if opinions are required for your report.

WTF? You've got to be kidding.
If you're serious, it seems to me you don't deserve to pass.
