The Black President
I think it's only beginning to dawn on me that we are in the process of electing not just a black president, but THE black president. Not just a president whose skin is dark and whose ancestors were African, but a president with an African father and an African name whose grandparents were Muslim.
We're not electing Billy Dee Williams, but Barack Hussein Obama.
That's both scary and exciting.
