What is Obama doing? He has nothing going about our present energy crisis. He's got to say something that gives us some hope! By Oct. the voter will clearly see the winter coming and fuel prices will still be worse. Obama saying there's nothing we can do because of supply and demand is not a great answer. I keep waiting to hear something from him that will help the poor and middle class voters. How about some mass transit or something......

Not on the front page of TPM - must be a mistake. Dennis has put it in our hands and I intend to at least notify and ask why my representative isn't backing the impeachment. No President in our history has deserved it more than this President. I can't begin figure out Pelosi and Reid but that's their problem not mine.

This war has been so unfair to the people who have fought it. It reminds of learning about how people bought their way out of conscription during the civil war. Those in the National Guard and in the Reserves really paid the price...I feel that it should now be a requirement for any member of the House of Representatives or Senate that they have a tour of duty in any war where they approved any funding - age should not be a factor - it hasn't been for many of the people in the National Guard or the Reserves.

I don't watch anyone associated with Fox News - it's not news. They are interested in selling, not news. Wrap your fish in the Wall Street Journal if you still get it. McClatchy is a decent news source - I still think NPR has some value - and the blogs like TPM are very important. MSM manipulates the news and commentary/opinions are constantly given by their no name/ no knowledge commentators.

How could having an interesting convention hurt the Democratic Party? The nation might actually watch and listen if something is at stake. Also, the msm might show up and respond to something other than a speech or a broken heel.

Mu dad went to WWII and when he returned he was troubled by the waste and mismanagement that he had seen in the Pacific. He wasn't much of a gunho military man during the Vietnam era either. He was rather subtle with his influence. I've never been a person that thought that violence could solve my problems so I haven't turned to guns until recently. The squirrel that is trying to eat into my house has caused me to get out my Daisy Mae and sting his behind once in a while. He still taunts me, however....
