Why He Owns a Gun
After WVBiker's blog led me to the FN Five Seven, I started looking at reviews of it, and then youtube reviews of it and other small pistols. One thing led to another, and I found this guy Don's series of reviews and personal messages.
Eleven months ago, he posted about Global Warming being BS.
He also has this series of Why I Own a Gun stories: the prowler, the daughter's ex-boyfriend, etc. I found the one above, from eight months ago, fascinating because although he starts out with an, "I'm not a racist but we showed them" story, you can't miss the economic fear that creeps in at the end.
Three months ago, he posted about the wisdom of having a garden and investing in silver.
Two weeks ago, he posted about preparing for disaster.

This is not mathematical logic at work, it is cultural logic...with a purpose, a political purpose.
I am not a racist but those blacks better shut the fuck up...I mean that is what I got out of it. I am not a racist is the same preface rush uses before he plays Barack the Magic Negro. It is a protocol used now so that you can say racist things. And its not always what you say but what you leave out. This guy listens to rush all the time.
And where did the youngsters find mop handles? I do not buy this story.
Now I have written before visits to places like Oklahoma City. Cops using the 'n' word and such.
I do not see 60 people in a movie attacking two youngsters. Not without consequences.
Now back to the narrative.
When you aint got nothin you got nothin to lose and if that ever happens to me, I am going to have my guns and I am going to do something about not having nothin.
Now I have something besides some weed in my pocket so I cannot have honor.
We will need the guns if there is marshal law so that we may shoot minorities and federal officers.
What other conclusion can be drawn?
I believe that there are ten million men out there who feel exactly as this guy does. Maybe tens of millions.
Thank you for presenting this Donal.

One of my HS classmates supported Wallace for Prez, and showed me some of his campaign literature. There was a story about a very young Wallace, quite a good boxer, beating up white bullies to protect some blacks. Early in his political career he was seen as one of the fairer judges, meaning least prejudiced, but he found that he couldn't win higher office without becoming a champion of segregation.
Summer of 1972, I had a black coworker who stunned me by saying she supported Wallace because she felt even though he was segregationist, he would serve the black people's economic interests.

So an obnoxious teenager was "taking away his liberty" by talking in a movie? So this was the worst thing that ever happened to him? So he equates being "American" to standing firm against sassy people? This guy is dangerous for sure, and there are plenty more just like him.
ps: I don't believe the story either.
