No, we didn't cut the capital gains taxes to zero, but GWB *did* cut them. Regan attempted similar. In both cases, it was a disaster. Just look at the unemployment rates during these 2 presidencies.

You never actually read anything I link, do you? When the graduation is considered, we are actually one of the LOWEST taxed countries in the world. We can afford to up it some.

The article I linked actually says:

The Treasury Department estimates that various corporate tax breaks will cost the federal government more than $1.2 trillion over the next ten years (2008-2017), a period during which total corporate revenues are projected to equal $3.4 trillion.

So your piss poor idea of keeping the rates low and leaving the loopholes in place will hurt the rest of us really bad.

Nobody but YOU is suggesting different rates for different states. Moving to a different country is a whole different ball of wax. You're comparing apples to oranges.

This is just great, thanks for sharing it.

The way I volunteered was to make a website for our local Democrat chapter, WCCC-UDC. It's really the best way I can help, since I totally suck with people. Ever seen Office Space? You know when the big guy is in the consultant meeting and saying "I'm good with people damnit! What the hell is wrong with you people!"... he's more cordial than I am to members of the GOP ;-)

But your story is polar opposite. Sharing deep feelings with people who are really strangers, all coming together for this purpose. It's amazing. And congratulations, you guys did a killer job.

Thanks.

The thing that's bugging me here is the large segment of people who voted for Obama and also yes on prop 8. With one hand, these people tear down a huge historic barrier. With the other, they erect a new one. It's like "well, we have to have some prejudice, so here's my new choice."

It's hard to understand this. Hopefully some day, prop 8 will look like Jim Crow laws to everyone, and we will look back on this day and shake our heads at the hypocrisy.

How to win friends and influence people, by truthseeker77. A fine read.

Seriously though, WTF? Is it just me or are your posts getting dumber as you get more desperate and anxious?

Fine, I'll go ahead: as a registered Democrat, I call for Obama to release his full medical records. Happy now? I'm not scared of what they will show.

Oh and congratulations for turning comments on! See, it's not that hard. You spout some BS, we get to reply. Simple and fair.

Love,
