I thoroughly enjoy leaving comments on TH.com about their desperate attempts to remain relevant in this campaign. Thomas Sowell in particular has been grabbing at straws in his attacks on Obama. Ah well, they just have to prepare to hate the prez for the next 4 years.

One positive about having a Democratic president and Democrats in control of Congress is that tens of millions of taxpayer dollars won't be spent in a series of self-serving, deadend investigations trying to dig up dirt for the next election cycle.

Dear "we r all husseins",
It will be just like the last eight years: Executive power run amock. Can't wait.
I actually hope that there will be LOTS of investigations -- into the abuse of power over the past eight years.

I have a Townhall account myself- even used it once to take issue with a Sowell article. He was claiming that publicly-funded college education was a waste of resources. The regulars jumped right on that bandwagon, whining about how unfair it was that their taxes were used to provide a cheap(er)education for a bunch of smart-assed college kids. It was pretty funny.
ME: "You do realize that that web browser you're using to post here was first developed on a federal grant that was specifically given to develop Supercomputing applications at a public Land Grant University, right? And you got it practically for free, because the people on that project gave it away. You do know that, don't you?"
TOWNHALLer:"Well, so what? The web browser could just as well been created in someone's garage."
I was a little worried about harassment when I registered, so I gave my address as 1060 Addison Avenue, Chicago, IL.
