And I cry yet again. The fathers' look to each other says it all. They know the future looks brighter for their sons.
I do not recall ever in my life welling up on such a regular basis for a happy reason.
I can't go 3 waking hours without nearly crying. Very moving photos. Thank you for sharing them.
WOW. That picture seriously pulls right at your heart strings. This is why we voted in droves on Tuesday. So those kids can live together and play together and hang out without any notice of race or creed. They are both americans first and foremost.
Beautiful. Thank you for this.
Don't sell it short. That's worth at least 4,000 words.
Tears. Love. Hope. Joy. Gratitude.
Aw, DF, I just love you. Thanks for this.
Thanks, DF.
Simply Perfect. Perfect. Perfect! It doesn't get much better than that.
Tears here, too.
Thanks DF.
Thanks Obama.
Thanks American Voters.
Simply beautiful.
How sweet it is!
Aw, jeez, ferchristsake.
Says it all. Thanks for the post, DF. Good job with dagblog, by the way.
Notice the women with the Islamic headgarb behind the two fathers in the last photo.
Its always about our children in the end! What a great catch.
Damnit! You made me cry.
Thank you for those lovely photos.
Extremely freakin' awesome.
Except... the pic is stretched a bit.... Yeah I'm nit-picky that way.
Shouldn't be. I set the aspect myself. Which way does it look stretched?
Browser issue. They look squashed vertically in Safari but come up just fine in Firefox. Both on my Mac.
Nice photo. Were you lucky enough to be at the celebration, or is this someone else's shot?
Congrats if it's your's... great shot. If not, I'd love to know who took the photo so I can thank the photographer personally.
Its... poetry.
Alright, I confess, I didn't see this racial catharsis coming. I thought this election was about issues like ending a disastrous war and saving the economy. I was pleased when polls suggested that America might be ready to elect this really smart, nice guy--who didn't pander to the bigots and the fools, but who also didn't let their lies go unrebutted--who also happened to be black to handle the job. But it was not until I saw pictures like this sequence that it really hit me how major this is. Thanks for posting these.
Awesome. Recommended for sure!
