A distrust and comtempt for all of us lefties
He spits at Obama declaring hes really Osama
And claims all the progressives are deaf
So Bwak and Seashell and Flower and Auntie
Yell trucknuts and buttsecks and cry out their own disbelief
And list all the best menues to fill in the venue
And completely ignore the dumb brief
ladidaladididida lalalalalalalalalaaaaaa
Now Sleepin and DD and Grouch and Miguel
Are old left complainers, with so much contempt for years
They've watched Nixon and Cheney and Rummy go crazy
With high Crimes and Misdemeanors
They saw Reagan the dolt and w dig us a hole
Backing all the evil corporate trolls
So they start on their rantings
Sayin that's not what they are wanting
Surely there must be something better than this
Now Justice is practicing poetry
Although they've publish a lot that he writes
And LisB, Missy, Flower, Orlando and Auntie
Post poetry that sounds more than all right
Rowan and Pseudo and Grouch and old Larry
Are techies for bloggers at our Cafe
Old Quinn complains of piles and three legged dogs
And makes us laugh till we are quite but sick
TheraP is our leader and we'd all like to meet her
She proves right wingers are nothing but dicks
And Face and Obey and Oleeb and OGB
Give us long and great essays for free
Meanwhile Saladin gives us variety shows
While Carol G produces a news post for lazies like me
But Curt can get mad
Showing hypocracy is bad
And Missy says that's no reason to be without some hope
Most of Cafe is so hopeful
After thirty years of corporate control
The fascists have reigned
Driving lefties insane
Giving the powerless nothing but pain
We now pray for universal health
The end to all warfare
And redistribution of wealth
So I have finished this post

That's great news about the monitor, stilli. The post office screwed up on Saturday. DD didn't trust them not to screw up again, so he lugged the box home early this morning. He didn't need my help in hooking the new one up (but I kept bugging him anyway!).

Even Chris Matthews was 'reporting' allegations that cheney and rummy were torturing intentionally to get links between Iraq and 9/11. We were torturing for the sole purpose of getting the prisoners to lie.

Some may view me as a leader. But honestly I've never thought of myself that way. I think I could claim to have tried to make this a safe place where people could open up and freely talk.

Yup. I'm on a Mac, and they recently upgraded the anti-malware schtick, so I turned it down. Seems fine now.

Oh Flower I felt so empty. But after continual blogging on a daily basis for four or five months, maybe I needed to get away. Who knows?
But this set up that Seashell put together is so fast. So clean.
And the fortnight lost has made me really eager.
I missed you. It will be a few days to get something on AM again so that you can have the opportunity to spill your coffee on that keyboard.hahaha
Oh and this new wireless keyboard. wow. And all this on an older rig of Seashell's that she formatted perfectly. ha

Glad it came and is OK. Putting together and connecting is a snap. No problem for a stepper.
As for following. Been at TPM for longer than most and that came long after the site started and I just never changed with some of the new stuff. Doesn't mean I don't read a lot of people. I just prefer to remain neutral and try to focus on ideas. Plus I'm excessively independent and following doesn't feel right to me.

I myself may take things a bit easy for a few days here. Not entirely away. Just giving myself a needed respite from the intensity of that last blog I needed to work myself up to - and which resulted in such an amazing thread. I'm wrung out like a dishrag - but with a sense of having stepped up to the plate. I'm sitting on the bench for a bit - watching the game.

Not true Dick, there's millions of us out here. Unfortunately in my case with the township we're fighting against small time operators who aren't on anybody's radar (especially the media's) except ours'. Couple that with mindnumbing financial statements they're screwing up and equally mindnumbing state statutes they ignore and you wind with some serious voter apathy.
But stayed tuned. Hopefully I'll have more in a blog post at TPM soon.
