EMPLOYEE INDISCRETIONS
Newsweek (through Daily Beast) reports some problems in the workplace. It appears that 25% or more of white collar employees are surfing the internet for pornographic thrills during work hours. One source explained that one of the execs who worked under her was having problems with his computer. It kept crashing.
She brought in an expert to examine the problem and found the source to be explicitly rated moving pictures that carried with them viruses of some sort.
She promptly fired the poor guy.
Like one episode of Seinfeld pointed out, some men's greatest fear is to be caught exercising their johnson by their mother.
I suppose mom could cut off your allowance. But losing your only source of income through such indiscretions can be much harder on one, so to speak.
What reason was officially logged against this employee? What exactly would you put in the file? Misuse of employer hardware? software?
"Employee had too much of a 'hands on' approach."
On his job applications he might indicate why he left his last position. Answer: It was hurting my back.
This is the problem with non union work environs. You just get sick of being screwed.
