Why Suskind Did Pelosi and Obama No Favors

In my opinion it was a terrible thing for Suskind to have levelled such serious charges at the CIA and the White House.
It makes the Dems' refusal to impeach look even worse than it did last month.
So according to the CIA Suskind's charges "go far beyond rational critique." The CIA positively HEARTS Suskind compared to what I feel about the cowards running Congress.

I don't care if I am the only one who feels this way. I despise the Democrats with all my heart.

Even asking for the obvious is too much these days

Things really have reached a pathetic state, when the vaunted FBI can't perform a simple autopsy in the most fateful bio-terror case of our times.

I'm a Believer

So now we have news, care of TPM Muckraker and other skeptical sources, that the FBI no longer stands behind their story of their lonely anthrax maniac, quite as much as they did previously (not based on new info naturally, just on administrative errors that have 'come to light'). I confess, I believe that everything that comes out of the Executive Branch, which includes the FBI, is disinformation; that may make me paranoid. It certainly makes me impatient with more credulous types.
Foremost among these, I should name Tom Daschle, whose current job of adviser to Obama is probably the reason he is not burying McCain in a landslide at the moment. (No, I don't believe that's the ONLY reason.)
But this Daschle fellow is an egregious- believer. He is one of the 29 Senate Democrats who chose to believe evidence in favor of invading Iraq in 2002- the most pivotal, and fatal, decision of our young American century thus far. He chose to believe pitiful (but no doubt scientifically dazzling) claptrap from the FBI regarding his anthrax mailer, where most of us simply shook our heads and realized our Government was at best finding a convenient patsy and at worst... well, I'm not sure what I believe the worst could be (and I hope I'm not insulting anyone's beliefs here, though I'm fairly sure I am- so I can't really hope....).
But this man, former Senate Majority Leader, also believes in Obama, enough to become one of the Obama campaign's national co-chairs.

Here are some other things Daschle believes:

That Bush's warrantless wiretapping program is necessary to secure the Homeland, even if it is illegal  (perhaps he made Obama a believer, too).

That working with K Street luminary, and former Senate Minority Leader, Bob Dole, as a Senior Policy Advisor for a K Street law firm is a fine example of bipartisanship (or post-partisanship). (Actually, he may not believe that at all, but may be just in it for the money. But read his own words, and see if he is as ingenuous as he claims to be.)

If only I could believe, as he does, that Obama "personifies the future of Democratic leadership in our country....."

(I believe in Obama just enough to vote for him. Lack of bold intentional.)
