Where is the Rotwang?

This is an open call for more posts by CA Rotwang! Where are you? We need you right now, big time.

Don't get me wrong, TPMCafe is off to a great 2009 with more frequent offerings from Robert Reich and Dean Baker. Bernard Avishai has me convinced that he's one of the better thinkers out there on Israel/Palestine issues.

But Rotwang speaks for us liberals who are on the winning side but represented in the White House and in congress by centrists who we like and respect but often disagree with.

It's Rotwang's job to come here and ask and push Obama on civil liberties issues, especially as pertains to domestic spying and the Patriot Act or about why my tax dollars are still paying for ridiculous anti marijuana commercials or... heck... It's really important now that we question Obama from the left and of the featured posters around here, CA Rotwang was always best at that.

I'm a little worried that there's been more Amitai Etzioni than CA Rotwang in 2009. So get to work, Rotwang, we need you!

Yup, more Rotwang. And in a worse temper, please. No more kissy-kissy.

And if you're reading this - Monsieur so-called "Rotwang," (though I doubt that's your REAL name) - remember... your troops have been camped by this frigid river all Winter, our numbers have shrunken, we're hungry and cold, and the nights are long.

Delay too long, and you could face a ugly mob of Rotwangerficiandos (TM.)

Not pretty.

LOL. I doubt Josh is hiding the Rotwang. More important that Rotwang sees this and gets back to work!

I heard a rumor that just prior to Obama being sworn in that Rotwang (being a hostile foreign national) was snatched right off the street and taken to Gitmo. Thankfully, Obama's order to close it down means it will be no longer than a year before Rotwang is released once again! Along with many others I await the release and return of the evil genius.

It's possible all those whom we're currently missing are recomposing their routines following the campaign and transition. That would include catching up on rest and relationships... I just hope they come to us again soon.

DF, articleman and genghis, along with a few others, developed their own group blog bouncing off their popularity here during the election season,

and I have gotten the impression that they feel its not kosher to cross-post here too often for that reason (after what seemed like a short intial period of promotion of it.) They do have google ads there, and also put a full roster of links to cross-linking services under each post, and the purpose of those sites is to build audience.
