So Long, Thanks For All the Fish
Things I've learned at TPM:
Having or making money is bad, unless you're raising money for a candidate (bundlers are good when it's your candidate, though they aren't actually bundlers, they're fans). Unless it's Al Gore or John Edwards or possibly John Kerry. Definitely not a Clinton.
Talking about sexism is bad unless you immediately talk about racism. Clinton Rules say you can use sexist or otherwise foul terms about either Clinton or anyone associated with them. Woman really don't suffer all that bad, and it's not sexist if there's a woman somewhere who laughed or approved.
The 90's were bad. It's amazing we survived. Poverty didn't go down, there was no internet boom, there was no surplus, there was too much bickering and it was all because of the Clintons and their whining about a Great Right Wing Conspiracy and that Bill couldn't keep his pants up and that Hillary didn't divorce him. Oh, and she screwed up Universal Health Care forever which is why we can't ask for it 15 years later. Republicans didn't exist in the 90's - it was the Clintons that brought them back. Remember "Poltergeist"? That was them.
Democrats could have stopped the Iraq War by speaking out more. Bill Clinton could have stopped 9/11 if he hadn't been doing Monica.
Anyone can figure out foreign affairs by reading the papers, and anything else is just an excuse. Wars are bad, especially unnecessary wars. Foreign leaders just need talking to, or pressure from the UN. Threats of force are just American imperialism. Experience is unnecessary because we've seen what experience brings the last 7 years. And besides, the nominee can choose good experienced advisers, unlike the current President who chose bad experienced advisers.
Obama is post-racial which is why you shouldn't mention his race, except accompanied by MLK. Also don't mention that guy who he's been watching for 20 years, because that's even more racist, unless you understand where he's coming from. They should be angry, and it's the Clintons'/ America's fault. In fact pretty much anything Clinton supporters do is by default racist. Actually, America is by default racist, along with all the other terrible things it does, and until blacks make the same money as whites, there's no hope. Except through Obama. For the first time in our lives. Black people are all poor and disadvantaged except that guy who supports Hillary.
Hillary did it too. Whatever it was.
If you work for TPM and research media bias against Hillary you're liable to disappear (perhaps add him to the Clinton hit list). I think that means the media is really against Obama.
You remember those stories about the Clintons in the 90's? They're all true. Hillary latched onto Bill and has been spinning lawyer records, knocking off friends and posing like Paris Hilton around the world ever since. Except she cackles and is Nixon/Bush in a pants suit.
Bill gave New York to Hillary as a birthday present. Not only did she take all the White House cutlery on the way out, she had her name emblazoned on the West Wing and has been telling everyone it's hers ever since, even dropping "Rodham" and replacing it with "Inevitable". Not that she did anything to deserve to go back, she just wears the Clinton Dynasty name and keychain. Just call them J.R. and Sue Ellen.
Obama fans are reasonable and hopeful. Hillary fans are shrill and unreasonable and engage in dog-whistle politics. Nobody votes for Hillary except Republican crossovers. Everybody votes for Obama including Republicans who've matured and gained hope. If Hillary had run her campaign like Obama ran his, she might be kind of likable, but instead she's a %#$&**@! and that's putting it politely. Hillary directs all of her campaign workers to send out disgusting mailers and engage in sordid whispering campaigns. Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh are actually advising the Clinton Campaign.
Hillary should have dropped out a) Feb 2007, b) after Iowa, c) after Super Tuesday, or d) after she won/lost Texas, or e) at latest before June. Hillary is really Joe Lieberman. Hillary is a Republican.
Desidero is a Republican, a woman, stupid, anti-poor, anti-black, obsessed with his..oops..her identity, a broken record, inarticulate.
Desidero is outta here. Thanks for all the fish. See you maybe after November. Make that a big 'maybe'.
