I wonder if this is money well spent for them? Seems like an exercise in futility to me.
I'm curious how you handled it, Deb T. I would not have been polite, I'm afraid.
One thing to do is track down the organization via the telephone number (e.g. *69) or organization name, which they usually supply. It's almost inevitably a front for someone else, but once the information is disseminated, various members of the public can generally find ways to identify the original source. This can then be reported to the media or to responsible legislators. Usually, nothing illegal is involved, but exposure can be embarrassing to the political forces behind the push poll.
I wonder if this is money well spent for them? (Not that I really care.) Seems like an exercise in futility to me.

Don't know how the double post happened.
Well they don't call me... but I'm in CO so I'll make sure to call my senators today and let them know I expect them to confirm her. I think they are really fundraising though. No one expects her not to get confirmed but they are probably fishing for people who don't like her to raise money while they still can. That's my guess anyway.
These people are helping keep the drug companies in business. The use of Prozac and Xanax must have doubled since Obama won!
I received a robo-call this morning, asking if i supported a pro-family, pro-life agenda. Nope, not on your terms, i added fruitlessly. The voice asked if i were a man, nope, did i contribute to campaigns...yep, looking for $$$.
Caller ID said 202-461-3454 fedrsrch09, if anyone wants to do anything with it. I live in colorado also, and get right-wing push-poll calls all the time.
Still. They are at it still.
