At a time when Blago seemed sure to dog Obama through at least inauguration, comes the Repubs decision to kill the bailout, destroy several companies, and make a whole bunch of Americans ever so thankful this Christmas for their actions.
Who is going to care about the latest round of Chicago corruption with the Repubs destroying the economy?
If the Repubs really wanted to roast Obama, they would of passed the bailout and gotten right back to Blago.

The Dems are going to jump on this as the blame game for the Republicans screwing up the economy and pushing us into a depression.
It's not the Republicans fault that the Big 3 got in this mess a long time ago. The Big 3 have been screwed up for a long time
This is a much bigger issue than Blago. The Republicans shouldn't be wasting their time on Blago and Barry because Barry didn't do anything wrong with respect to selling of his senate seat.

If the Dem's are Smart they won't push it now but rather hold it for use in 2010 and to a lesser extent in 2012. Though you know Rush is going to push this hard for 24 hours.
