		        <![CDATA[<p>T'was nice to hear the wind taken out of their sails a tad, though--  they thought they'd found a new fuhrer, and really all they had was a sad old man.  Every time he grimaced and waved for them to STFU & sit down, they sounded a little weaker.  By the end even that moronic U.S.A. chant had only a fraction of its usual hungry, lynch-happy power.</p>

<p>Not that these idiots are defeated, by any means, but McCain's concession was a heavy blow to their Good German Egos.  It's a start.</p>]]>

<p>Not to say the Todd debacle doesn't deserve a certain amount of attention (as evidence of increasing instability among McCain's base, if nothing else) but it's more noise than signal at a crucial juncture:  namely, when a sitting president is actively involved in trying to influence the outcome of an election.</p>

<p>Here's hoping we see this topic in play among the major news orgs by Tuesday at the latest.</p>]]>

		        <![CDATA[<p>I've seen a nonstop tumult of anti-Saxby ads on the tube at the bar where I work--  on FOX, no less.  Only one anti-Martin, so far.  The anti-Martin ad looked like the typical, trite terrormongering smear:  "You don't know the truth about..." etc.</p>

<p>And yeah, everybody I've talked to has already turned in their votes.  Atlanta might just be a driving force this cycle!</p>]]>

The major newspapers & networks-  excepting the Fox Squawkbox  --have been disrespected & slapped around altogether too much by the current administration (in general) McCain's campaign (in particular) to not pick a side and come out swinging.</p>
