Actually the timing of the Obama's campaign announcement probably has everything to do with the SCOTUS slapping down the GOP
in Ohio. And I believe that happened today so that would be why the letter and the press conference from the Obama campaign were today, even though Friday isn't normally the day you push things into the media cycle that you want covered.
So in my estimation he's not at all doing what McCain wants, or since a picture is worth a thousand words...
