John McCain Has Been Working with a Convicted Felon for Decades!
John McCain claims to be a maverick reformer, but he has been working along side a Convicted Felon for decades. Yes, ever since he was first elected to the Senate, John McCain has been 'caucusing' with Alaska Senator Ted Stevens who has been convicted on seven counts of corruption in a longterm bribery investigation. Not only that, McCain's running-mate has also worked with this felon in her role as the so-called reformer governor of Alaska.
Who do you trust to bring change to Washington? A trusted family man still married to his first wife, or a Senator still haunted by his own ethics scandals who 'pals around' with a convicted felon?

Everyone forget G Gordon Liddy, who took an oath supporting the United States Constitution, and then just threw it to the wind to protect Nixon... spent time in federal prison... and now reaps the profit of notoriety we so happily bestow upon traitors to our country...

BTW: Liddy is STILL proud of his decision to protect the president rather than the nation...

There are plenty of reasons to dislike John McCain, but Ted Stevens isn't one of them. It is disingenuous to imply they have conspired together, when it is common knowledge the Stevens despises McCain due to his stance against earmarks. I am dismayed to see this sort of disinformation poisoning our political discourse.

I think you need to step back for minute and relax. I know things are tense going into the final week, but you need to see this as what it was meant to be - parody, of the McCain campaign. Certainly McCain's association with Stevens has been much closer than Obama's with Bill Ayers, but apparently that doesn't mean McCain feels Ayers isn't fair game. I don't think Ayers (or Wright) is fair game, but if McCain does, he needs to think about that story of the man who lives in glass house.

He's also married to someone who committed felonies -- prescription fraud of controlled substances -- the only reason she didn't get charged is because of McCain himself.
OK, let's bring up Keating. And G Gordon Liddy too. He never "paid his debt" for excplaining how to successfully kill federal agents, or plotting to assassinate Jack Anderson.

while the democrates where in control on capitol hill chris dodd and barney franks where over the finance committie and where warned that regulations needed to tightened on fannin mae and freddy mac not once but at least 3 times two by Bush and once by Mccain they said there is nothing wrong the housing boom in good let's don't do anything to disturb it. and just for your information it was your beloved jimmie carter and bill clinton who pushed for loans to people who knew that they couldn't pay them back
