I was floating around, and just happened to notice the list of the "most followed users," and I realized that many of them haven't posted anything for quite some time.  I wonder if it might be more helpful --  if there is to be a list at all -- that the list reflect the most "hits" on blogs posted by people?  Or the most recommended?
I ask this as someone who doesn't regularly blog -- only when I feel I have something to say, and so I am not in contention here.  I just wonder what the point is of having old, moldy lists of people who have moved on as "most followed users."  It seems to me it doesn't provide any useful information.  
Ideas?
