OK, It's hard to feel sorry for a multi-millionairess who dated a married man with children; and then married him herself.  But I was struck over these few days at how hard Cindy was working to be the loyal (read Stepford) wife.  Her tribute to her husband was surely put together by professionals, but she did her part well.  She talked about her enduring love for him.

Has anyone noticed that he barely acknowledges her at all?  She usually walks behind him, and when they are side-by-side there is plenty of day-light between them.  His long-winded speech last night did not have one word that I heard of praise for the little woman.  He probably resents the fact that everyone knows he married his sugar-lady, but that isn't Cindy's fault.  Most politicians go out of their way to say something like, "Without my loving wife behind me I never would have made it this far."  Even Palin said her hubby "is still her guy."

McCain disses Cindy everytime he ignores her; every time he gushes over his "soul-mate" Sarah.  I think he is a nasty man, and would be a horrible leader, but I KNOW from the way he treats Cindy that he is a shitty husband.
