Ironic that Falwell, on CNN to defend his remarks about HRC, said he was just joking, and we know it's a joke because "obviously Lucifer is not going to run, and I was not calling Hillary Lucifer."

In the landmark First Amendment rights case, Hustler v. Falwell, the Rev. lost on the very same grounds -- that obviously no one would believe that Falwell really lost his virginity to his mother in an outhouse.

Man, that thing STILL cracks me up. 

Atrios, rightly so, has been harping the last few days on why Barack Obama, the supposed moral and religious voice of the Dems, has been absent from any head-on attacks on the issue of torture. An issue which you'd think the supposed moral and religious voice of the Dems would have a lot to say about.

Why is that?
