THE FALL ELECTION MAY BE TOO LATE. BUSH WANTS TO SEND TROOPS INTO LEBANON.
In a post by Ken Silverstein on Harper's we learn that President Bush has really lost it. He wants to send troops into Lebanon. This will put U.S. military personnel in the Middle East in grave jeopardy because it is a virtual declaration of war against all Shi'a. Bush doesn't have a clue what this will do to the U.S. military in Iraq if he sends troops to Lebanon.
I am sick at heart.

I've been saying this for over a week. If the Arab world (The Arab League) decides to come to the defense of Hezbolla, Israel will be decimated quickly. 130,000 American troops in Iraq would be in a horribly dangerous environment. It's hard to believe they could be more threatened considering they are in the middle of a tragic civil war right now thanks to George W. Bush but the consequences of an all out battle with Iran and the rest of the Muslim world would doom them to massive casualties at the least and annihilation at worst.
