I sit at my desk at my 9 to 5 wishing I could be doing something different. I'm not short on ideas. I could afford to take a pay cut do what I dream of. What I can't afford is to go without healthcare for my family. I need the 9 to 5 for that. My question is would universal healthcare create jobs by allowing people like myself to leave my job and pursue my dream knowing that I can afford healthcare? Leaving my job creates an opening for someone else to fill. I don't know if anyone has ever done studies on that, but it seems to me this could be an added bonus to the health reform push.
