We all know this is the most important election of our lifetimes.  I literally can't imagine the thought of waking up on Wednesday morning with the crypt keeper and bible spice (thanks Alec Baldwin) ready to take the hand off from our first retarded president on January 20.  I won't be able to handle it - and will probably move a few hundred miles North to Vancouver BC.

But that move isn't possible for many of you - and we ALL have a chance to make it unnecessary.  We can ensure Barack Obama is elected - BUT IT WILL TAKE WORK.

What if I told you a year ago that you could, by giving three days of your life, ensure that Barack (or Hillary if she was your candidate) was elected over the most right wing and unqualified ticket in recent memory?  Three days of your life - and you could ensure that we gain back the respect of the world - INSTANTLY.  There are only 3 countries who are cheering for Grampy to win.  All the rest want Obama.  Let's make sure ours isn't the fourth Country in the World who makes the wrong choice.

So - here's what you and I and everyone who supports Barack has to do.  GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE.  KNOCK ON DOORS.  MAKE PHONE CALLS.  CHANGE THE HEARTS OF THE UNDECIDED.   MAKE SURE PEOPLE HAVE A RIDE TO THE POLLING PLACES.  BRING SANDWICHES AND FOOD AND DRINK TO THE PEOPLE IN LINE, ETC.

Your kids will forgive you for not attending the soccer game this time.  Your sewing circle will just have to go on without you.  You can Tivo your TV shows.  THE WORLD NEEDS YOU - NOW!

Sure - I know what you are thinking.  I've given my money, I've even made phone calls.  He's leading in all the polls - what's the point? 

The point is - the other side is trying to steal this by suppressing the vote.   We need YOU to make sure it isn't suppressed.  The other side is trying to scare people using vile and disgusting tactics.  And it works.  We need YOU to use FACT to overcome the LIES.

If you think I'm talking to you - you are right.  If you think - sure - Barack has a huge ground game - I'd just get in the way.  you are wrong.  HE NEEDS YOU.  WE NEED YOU.  THE COUNTRY NEEDS YOU.  

You owe this to yourself, to your neighbor, and to the future generations who will either inherit a world shaped by the best candidate we've had in a generation, a brilliant man who has the temperment to lead this nation to greatness, and who has ideas that will reshape our economic, political, and environmental landscapes, or to a candidate who wants to continue and make the Bush policies more evil if that's possible.

GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE.  GIVE THREE DAYS.   WORK TODAY, TOMORROW AND TUESDAY LIKE YOUR LIVES DEPENDED ON IT.   IF PALIN IS IN THE BIG CHAIR - THEY LITERALLY DO!!
