It is customary for a new administration to ask for resignations across the board from those serving his predecessor. Remember all the rightwing histrionics that Clinton "fired all 93 US Attorneys!!" - despite it being standard practice?

My point, jsfox, is why on earth would Obama even think of keeping any of Bush's crop of 93 onboard - given the many instances of judicial impropriety & political machinations attributed to them?

Wish I could agree with you. Unfortunately, we're still facing a couple more financial body-blows - in the form of another wave of mortgage crunches looming, and the multi-trillion dollar credit card debt mess looking to implode.

The repercussions from these events will serve to only deepen our financial misery, I'm afraid. I believe we're looking at another year+ of fiscal stupor before we begin to creep our way out of the morass.

Too bad we can't count on "The Party of NO!" as being on our side; Barack could really use their help - even if that consisted solely of ceasing rowing their side of the boat in the opposite direction from where we're trying to go.

Hello Doctor Aaron..

I read your post with much interest - and was galvanized upon reading of patient M.R. and his aortic stenosis. I, too, had that condition (congenital) - and it damn near killed me a few years ago when the valve became majorly infected.

Hope your patient monitors his BP accordingly. And adheres strictly to prophylaxis antibiotics prior to any dental work. (twas failure of the latter which nearly did me in).

Thank you for taking some of your valuable time to share your thoughts & experiences with us. Greatly appreciated.
