Your points make my point Fred. Until consumers see a BENEFIT for themselves they will be afraid of this reform. So far it appears to be more RULES to follow and only beneficial if you are healthy or the Insurance company.

What's the difference with advocating a death and doing it? This is conspiring to kill Obama, plain and simple. If you get arrested for bad remarks on a t-shirt about Bush, you should certainly get sent to prison for advocating (pushing for) Obama's death.

It's not a deductible PLUS health care, it's paying for the first $5000 of any medical care. Once you paid that amount, then the gov steps in.

Ellen, if you want to lower the cost or help pay for those that really need help, add these uninsured to Medicare. Especially the younger ones, they will be paying in for years before actually ever using the system...sort of like a life insurance policy.
