Goldstone: more than 50% of the entire world agrees ..

The list of countries that voted FOR the Goldstone report to be accepted, includes amongst others, Russia, China and India, and represents substantially more than 50% of the entire global community of 6.5 billion people.

Not a majority opinion to be ignored or treated lightly - and that global constituency demands answers, notwithstanding the opposition of the US.

In a vote of 25 for and 6 against, the United Nations Human Rights Council has accepted the report on Human Rights violations authored by Mr. Richard Goldstone. The “Goldstone Report” as it has come to be commonly known blames both the Palestinian Militants and the Israeli military forces for crimes against humanity and other war crimes. It calls for both the Israeli Government and the Palestinian Authority to “conduct credible investigations…or face war crimes prosecutions in the International War Crimes Tribunal.” The United States and Israel both voted against the recognition of the Goldstone Report citing difficulties in the Peace Process.
