Wow there!
So far, the language from most elected officials, except good old Michelle, isn't really that bad. Yeah, they like to say things like this, but please don't sensationalize this when there are SO many people out there (to be fair, on both extremes of the spectrum,) who say things that are sedition.

But even if they do, this country no longer has the Alien and Sedition acts.

Actually, that's not correct. The Geneva Conventions and international law established by the United Nations has been used for trials before. Remember the post-WWII trials? That's right. The US is obligated under the terms of international treaty, and as a member country of the United Nations, to abide by the rules that we signed on to. The Universal nature of these international statutes means that the US is not exempt, no matter how much you might want it to be.

Well, you have an amazingly slanted view of history. Titans of counterterrorism, such as Richard Clarke, are products of the Clinton Administration. Even better, anyone who bothered to read knows that the Bush administration did everything wrong possible in the lead up to 9/11. Now, I know I'm arguing the facts and not insulting you, that may be more then you can handle since you present no facts of your own, but here. Do try to read:
