Realtors and mortgage brokers at it again.
Now they want permission to commit the same fraud that helped
trash our economy the last time.
I am at a loss as to what should be done to these people for even
thinking of this.
And The National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and
The National Association of Realtors (NAR) are try to keep their
brand of fraud and chicanery from being outlawed or regulated
as well.

The article says appraiser called for action in 2005 but then it says appraisers are evil schemers.
Maybe the author could seem more confused.

I am not trying to defend the mortgage brokers and their exotic products but if you are trying to sell your house they can be helpful. I sold my house a little over a year ago and the people who bought borrowed the down payment and had some sort of ARM.
Of course it probably means they are the ones in foreclosure rather than me, but at the time I really appreciated that someone else got stuck with the house.
