I insist that you exempt all women 40 and over from refraining from sex as this is the time of their lives when nature amps up their sex drives and it would require too great a sacrifice:)

I'd like to encourage everyone's participation in this area. We'll all spend more time being happier and less stressed out. And, this could be our best solution to the Social Security shortfall. Get busy!

I agree. There are several frequent visitors to this site that are clearly not getting enough.

I think a stronger argument could be made for holding a lack of education, and more particularly of women/girls, responsible for high population growth. Poverty plays a significant role as well.

An expression of somehow changing this most obvious condition will have the entire world laughing in unison.

Since this thread seems to be tongue in cheek... I'll contribute in kind.
I have a plan for World Peace:
Everybody has 5 kids!
Anybody with kids know just how exhausting it can be...
I think war would cease to exist simply because everybody would be too damned tired to fight! :D

DEATH

Population is not in decline. So death, while individually of some import, is numerically irrelevant.
Sex and birth are celebrated but we mourn the dead. Which are more pleasant to the human spirit leaves us with little doubt as to which we prefer.
Speaking for myself I would rather have sex than go to a funeral. Something about the morbidity of post coitus conversation with a corpse that is offputting I suspect.
