More ideas for the ecomemy.
Jeff Madrick of the Nation has some good ideas as what
needs to happen in the country to get it moving again.
And like nearly all the progressive suggestions and policies
I have read here and elsewhere, we can expect to see them
implemented the same time hell freezes over and pigs fly.
Face it people. Ain't no one inside the beltway (or outside
to that matter) gonna let any thing like this see the light of
day. All they want is to fix the status quo.

Quite an enlightened article by Jeff Madrick. Thanks for posting it. You sound very disillusioned, friend. You need to find a little positivosity!

I'm with Flower. Good find. I have written in Alternet into my log.
I am not giving up the ship. You watch. Things are going to change.
If the dems can quickly get back 3 senators plus Franken they will only have to deal with one republican.

It is pretty cold here in Sacramento today, and I notice that the rest of the country is getting cold too. Hmmmmm. Now that I think of it I'm pretty sure I heard a strange bird fly over a couple of days ago - it seemed to grunt as it flew. Hmmmmm.
Fortunately, I have no present plans to make a personal check of the temperature in Hell, but I certainly will be on the lookout for more of those strange birds. If my plans go awry, and I do get to make those temperature measurements, I will post an entry in my blog here to report back.
