Mission Accomplished!?!?!?

2007 has become a record breaking year in American casualties in BOTH Iraq AND Afghanistan!

Mission Accomplished!?!?!?

How will "Faux News" spin this? And, worse yet, how will the families of these dead heroes deal with the tragic and unnecessary deaths of their family members?

At least, unlike Iraq, there was a legitimate reason to invade Afghanistan. But a complete failure in planning and execution of BOTH wars falls directly on the Neo-Con monsters who control the Executive Branch.

The "Surge" is having some positive effect on the short-term situation in Baghdad but our country can't maintain the additional forces deployed there for much longer. And that doesn't even take into consideration the horrible consequences of the PTSD and other afflictions which will be the result of this administration's actions. America will have to deal with the incompetence, arrogance and greed of this president for a generation!

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and the rest of the Neo-Cons who manipulated and lied this country into this quagmire in Iraq should be held accountable for what they've done.

"We The People" MUST take our country back!

Civilian Death Count Down In Iraq!

Recent reports confirm that the civilian death count was lower last month than in previous months. Great news, right? Well, yes, it's great news. Now ask yourself WHY it's down..

Could it be that ethnic cleansing has already killed so many that there just aren't enough left in any given neighborhood to keep the death toll so high? Could it be that the ones who haven't been killed have been so frightened by the genocide and terroristic threats that they have relocated?

Frightened survivors have fled family homes.

If someone killed the family next door and the family across the street and the neighbor down the street, then placed a note on your door announcing you were next unless you abandoned your home.... What would you do? Now imagine that you're not in America with some level of police protection. Now imagine you can't trust your own army or your own government to protect your two-year-old. Hard to imagine, isn't it?

Well, it's not so difficult for Iraqi families to imagine. They've lived this way every minute of every day since "Georgie" decided to invade their sovereign nation. They've lived with this kind of fear every minute of every day for over 4 years!

A Glimpse Into OUR Future?

Could this be a glimpse into OUR future?

Watch this unfold carefully America. It's eerily similar to what I've been predicting might happen here when/if "Georgie" and Dick "The Monster" Cheney declare martial law to stop the '08 elections.

This is what happens when power crazy dictators feel their grip on complete control of their "subjects" slipping away.

Fortunately for OUR dictators we have GITMO and other covert CIA facilities in which to "store" the "unruly" among our citizens. In Pakistan, well... they'll probably just be "disposed of" in other ways. (Not that "Georgie" and "Dickie" would mind getting rid of a few of us out here in the blogosphere in less-than-pleasant ways)

I hope I'm just a paranoid nut. I'm sure some, like our own Lt. are thinking that very thing. But, as the old saying goes:

you're not paranoid if everyone really DOES hate you!

If you don't think this can happen in America... I hope you're right.

For Glenn...
