After reading cscs's blog this morning, I wanted to post my comment and a link to his words so that might get it out to a few more people.

"Bush World" is what we call it but greed has been our mantra through generations of both parties.

I honestly believe Bill Clinton and the Democrats CARE more about these matters. But money is the root of all mischief in the world and always has been. That may not be as profound as the original saying but it IS true.

We, as a people, are compassionate and decent for the most part. There are heartless monsters like Dick Cheney and there are morons like "Georgie" who just aren't smart enough to do better. But most of us are hard working, caring people.

The reason it seems so serious right now is for all the years of the Bush administration we've watched them steal our civil liberties, shift ALL the wealth in this country back to the rich and destroy our reputation around the world. Three strikes and we're out!

Hang in there. I'm still hoping we can survive these people and restore our standing in the world. Most of us DO care about these things. We're just so damned busy trying to survive and feed our families, we don't have time to show it as much as we should. The "Bad Guys" are the ones who get all the media attention.

I, like you, am disgusted that this can happen in America! "We The People" MUST continue to speak out and fight the evil that is this administration!

Thank you for all you do to keep this information out there in front of the readers here. I know you care. Most of us on this site care. Together maybe "We The People" can, in the words of Martin Luther King, overcome!

"Georgie" has the world in such a mess that we are left with nothing but BAD choices! Now, "Georgie" has decided (He IS the Decider, you know) to lift sanctions against Fatah because it looks like Hamas is about to destroy them all together and Fatah has become the "Lesser EVIL"..

Remember how well that worked in Afghanistan? We supported a group called the Taliban when they were the "Lesser EVIL" and look what happened.

Remember how well that worked in Iraq? We supported Saddam Hussein when he was the "Lesser EVIL" and look what happened.

Now we're going to supply support and weapons to Fatah so they can maintain control of Gaza because Hamas are the "Bad Guys!" Great planning, "Georgie!"

These guys make me dizzy!

The arrogance and incompetence of the Bush administration is legendary and they will go down in history as the worst administration our country ever produced. I only hope we can survive the next two years of these monsters and their ridiculous and idiotic policy decisions.

Here's a thought, "Georgie:" Let the PEOPLE of the Middle East decide their own fate. Interesting concept, isn't it?

That would be sort of like that thing you SAY we're fighting and dying to give them: DEMOCRACY! But Democracy is only good if the voters agree with YOU, right? 'Cause you're the "DECIDER!"

Here's a prediction: We will be fighting Hamas/Fatah and our troops will be wounded and killed by US weapons supplied in this idiotic strategy! I'll save this blog if I'm still alive when that happens and post it again. It may take 5 or 10 years and I'm not saying who will be using

those weapons. That depends on who winds up winning this current conflict between the two groups. Civil wars seem to be a thing that pops up anywhere "Georgie" and his bunch become involved. Go figure.

Well, I was just listening to Ryan Crocker, US Ambassador to Iraq, on Meet The Press.

As he stuttered and stammered to try to put forth the latest "Bush Administration LIES" I was struck by one of THEIR own statistics: 40% of Baghdad is SECURE! After months of the "surge" put in place by "Georgie"... 40% is secure!?!?

Of course I believe EVERYTHING that comes out of this administration since they have such an admirable record on honesty but how about this as a litmus test?

Hey, Ryan... How about you and "Georgie" take a stroll (announced in advance) through the 40% of Baghdad which you say is "secure?" Come on! Put your lives where your mouths are! Put YOUR lives where you've put our troops lives!

FAT CHANCE! The chance of that happening are about as likely as Dick "The Monster" Cheney having a soul. The chance of that happening are about as likely as Donald Rumsfeld being a competent Secretary of Defense. The chance of that happening are about as likely as Alberto Gonzales being a competent Attorney General.

Afghanistan is exploding again. Literally! The REAL war on Terror is still out there, "Georgie." I just hope we still have enough equipment and troops to fight it when you're finished "SECURING" the other 60% of Baghdad!

Reminds me of that old song: "The Twelfth of Never!"
