"Georgie" Is KING

I blogged over a month ago when our "Idiot In Chief" decided to send reinforcements into Baghdad that he was signing the death certificates of hundreds of American troops. Well, here we are.

How many American troops must die in this quagmire before "King Georgie" admits he and Rummy and the rest are incompetent, arrogant Neo-Cons who have NO strategy?

Sadly, it's political now. EVERYONE knows Iraq was a mistake. Most even admit it in the polls. But George W. Bush is desperately trying to hold power for his party by holding this disastrous course until after the election.

I've known from the beginning what this man and his administration was. I've been screaming here since my blog began about their arrogance and incompetence. But it saddens even me to see that they would stand by and watch more troops die just to hang on to power. That speaks louder about them than anything I could blog or anyone else could say about them.

After the election they will be forced to re-evaluate their course. There WILL be a change because there MUST be a change. It is too late to change the fact that they lied us into a war which should never have happened. It's too late to catch all their corruption because it's already happened. But I hope it's not too late to save our country.

I hate what I'm thinking right now. I hate that I'm afraid these monsters will cause an event which allows them to declare martial law and stop the '08 election. But I put nothing past these people. It is a sad and tragic state of affairs when Saddam appears to have been the lesser of two evils.

Habeas Corpus R.I.P.

"King Georgie" and his corrupt Republican Congress passed the Military Commission’s Act which effectively killed Habeas Corpus and took away many other of the civil liberties and rights which have been guaranteed by our Constitution for over two centuries.

Keith Olbermann made another of his wonderful "Special Comments" last night on the subject of what this turn of events means to every American. During an interview with a law professor from George Washington University, the discussion revealed the death of Habeas Corpus:

Habeas Corpus R.I.P.

It is a tragic time for our country! George W. Bush has done something that the terrorist could only wish to accomplish: Bring America closer to their form of government where paranoia and fear are the norm.

Hopefully the Supreme Court will overturn this new "Law" before it can be utilized by this bunch. If not, ANY American can be swept into custody without charges and taken to one of the administration's "detention" camps, tortured and held there without representation or access to evidence against them for eternity. Life without possibility of parole without charges, trial, conviction or even evidence! All on the order of an arrogant, incompetent bunch of Neo-Con cowards.

See ya at Gitmo!
