AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH

2006 was the hottest year every recorded in the United States. HEAT WAVE

What our politicians have done to the world over the past 40 years is a crime. In November we have a chance to show them what we think.

I think the record is clear that Democrats are more "environmentally friendly" than Republicans but we should send them ALL a message that this trend is unacceptable. It's time to vote every one in Congress who has ever voted against environmental issues OUT! Democrat or Republican. Vote them out if they aren't going to care about our world. Our kid's lives depend on it. Our grandkid's lives depend on it. THINK when you enter the voting booth.

Everyone VOTE! Change the course of this country.

AMERICA'S SHAME

It saddens me to watch the G-8 summit and to know that the world sees Alfred E. Neuman as the "leader" of the most powerful country on earth.

Does anyone else feel ashamed to have these people representing them? A man who called the president of Russia, "Pooti Poot".. Someone wrote a speech for "Georgie" which said: "I have looked into Putin's eyes and I have seen into his soul." Can you imagine George W. Bush even thinking something so profound? George W. Bush who doesn't have a soul because he sold it to the devil of corporate America. George W. Bush who can't pronounce "nuclear" but can push the button to destroy life on earth.

I'm ashamed every time I hear him called "President".. I'm ashamed every time he speaks "for" America. I'm ashamed and angry every time I think about how these people stole a national election and lied us into WWIII.

Someone PLEASE give "Georgie" a blowjob so we can impeach him!

IS THE RIGHT NAIVE OR JUST A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITS?

Sometimes my son asks me why I listen to the right wing nutcakes on radio and TV. Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Ingraham, etc. etc... It gets more difficult every day but I still try to get their "side" of the story. You know, how we Vietnam vets who think Bush is a coward and a liar are cowards and liars. That sort of thing.

Today I was listening to Glen Beck on the radio. I've still never been able to get through one of his TV shows and I probably won't. It will quickly go the way of that other nut, Michael Savage, whose outrageous TV show lasted about a week.

Glen was talking about Hollywood liberals. You know, the "left wing" they hate. He was discussing the loss of millions of dollars they lose by not releasing "edited" versions of successful movies for "family" viewing.

The premise of his rant was that he doesn't watch "R" rated movies anymore and he wanted "G" versions of those movies released so he could watch them with his family.

In the immortal words of that great philosopher, Charlie Brown: AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

If you've ever watched an "edited for television" version of ANY good "R" rated movie, you know how ridiculous this argument is.

Beck's version of "Gone With The Wind" would have this line: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a darn."

Glen Beck's kids should be ready for the real world, huh?

In closing, I'd like to quote a line from another classic, "Smokey And The Bandit"...

"Do the letters F-O mean anything to you?"

TOO LATE FOR JUSTICE

Valerie Plame filed suit today against high level members of the Bush administration. VALERIE PLAME SUIT

She may win. She may be compensated. The culprits may even be punished. But it's too late for justice. It's too late for the people who have been killed or tortured in the middle east for having been associated with Plame. It's too late to change the results of the 2004 presidential race which might have had a different outcome if the truth about Plame's identity being revealed had been known. It's too late to salvage her promising career. It's too late for the Wilson/Plame family to ever feel completely safe again.

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and "Scooter" Libby should all go to prison for now and hell later to spend eternity with Ken Lay. But that would be justice. Maybe someday the world will realize the evil of these men and what they did to our country. That will be justice.

For now, there can be no justice.

REPUBLICANS WANT TO BE BACK IN THE '60'S

Republicans in Congress and southerners want things back in the 1960's again. The Voting Rights Act is in danger! VOTING RIGHTS ACT IN PERIL

It's probably fitting to have those days back in the south. After all, that's where George W. Bush has placed the Supreme Court with his appointments. Now all three branches of our government are firmly in favor of stopping the oppressed black minority from voting! They're using the excuse that the Voting Rights Act, if renewed, will risk all the illegal Mexicans being able to vote! Wow! That would be horrible for them. Sorry, guys, it's inevitable.

Funny thing is: They have the south locked up. Have for decades! But these monsters want to guarantee their control of all the power in our country remains in the hands of the EXTREMELY WEALTHY. So, what's new?

Please vote in November!

Hey, "Georgie".. Se habla Espanol?

BOMBS IN INDIA

Strange isn't it? When "real" terrorists decide to blow people and things up, they do it. We've been flooded with the "fear tactics" lately about our Homeland Security, CIA and FBI catching "potential" terrorists before they have the ability to carry out their plots.

Aren't we lucky!

Trouble is, we aren't lucky. It's all a sham. The people our illustrious government has paraded before us on national TV lately are all as incompetent as the Bush administration. There was no way those people would EVER have been able to carry out a "real" terrorist act.

First, let's think about the mentality of a man or group who thinks they can flood a place which is 12 feet above the water's level. They're obviously not the brightest bulbs in the lamp.

Second, the group in Miami couldn't blow their noses.

It's all about keeping fear in the American voter's mind.

Now, back to India. Six bombs, six trains, six explosions simultaneously which killed at least 130 people. HOMELAND SECURITY?

These are the acts of REAL terrorists. And, SURPRISE! Nobody saw it coming! That's the difference between what the fear mongers would like us to believe is "Homeland Security" and REALITY!

WWIII... Could be. "Georgie" has stirred up the Islamic extremists all over the world. India and Pakistan both have nukes and this is just the kind of insanity which might push them over the edge.

Congratulations George W. Bush. Congratulations Homeland Security. Congratulations Congress for doing nothing to detect or stop this kind of thing. Thanks to all of you for making us feel so safe.

WHAT CIVIL WAR?

The Bush administration still claims there is no civil war in Iraq.

At least 58 people in Iraq were killed yesterday in sectarian violence. They might disagree with the administration... But they are dead. WHAT CIVIL WAR?

HUNDREDS or maybe THOUSANDS have died since the bombing of the mosque which began the "civil war" in Iraq.

Yesterday Shiite gunmen set up a checkpoint and took Sunni people out of their cars and executed them on the spot... At least 41 people were killed. Men, women and children.. shot dead. How can this happen?

Then Sunni murderers killed more at Shiite mosques with car bombs in revenge for the killings.

I looked up civil war in the dictionary. The definition is: "A WAR BETWEEN PEOPLE, REGIONS, RELIGIONS, ETC. IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY."

Which dictionary are you using, "Georgie?" Which dictionary are you using, Dick "The Monster" Cheney? Which dictionary are you using, "Rummy?" One of you read the definition to "Georgie" so he knows that what's happening in Iraq IS a civil war.

MONSTERS

News stories about the atrocities in Iraq are becoming more frequent and every one seems worse than the last.

The new story about the 14 year old rape victim who was murdered along with her family is horrible. Premeditated rape and murder is about as evil as monsters can get. MONSTERS

Four men have been charged with rape and murder. A fifth has been charged with dereliction of duty for not reporting the acts.

I wondered what could make a young man stand by and watch such horror, then not report it. I guess the defense will be that he feared these monsters too much to report them. But that doesn't change the fact that he stood by and let it happen. He must have been armed too.

Then again, it would have been 4 against 1 and he would probably have lost that battle. Makes me wonder how many of the 2,500 have been killed by their "buddies" to cover up crimes. That's a horrible way to think. But these kinds of acts call into question everything that has happened.

It all goes back to leadership. We have none. They have none. Rumsfeld is the top of the chain of command and his incompetence and arrogance are legendary. "Georgie" is at the top of our country's chain of command and his incompetence and arrogance are legendary.

And the beat goes on and on and on...
