Batshit Americana

This time, it's the The Attack of the Toy Pony in Florida.

And that, as they say, is all she wrote.

It was fun.

That's politics. You're welcome.

Why Josh won't cancel the TPM readers' blogs

Over here, Mr. Marshall seems to offer his opinion of a particular group of people:

"Left Democrats: He wasn't liberal or tough enough and me and my eight friends are deeply disillusioned."

Regarding the changes at TPM

I wish people who know next to nothing about the complexities of this sort of system, the same people who are being given something free, the same people who seem to know how to do nothing but complain, would seek out and find a nice tall mug of STFU.

Seriously.

It is a sad commentary when you cannot give freely something to the people without the people complaining that it is not what the people wanted.

Yet, ironically, the people continue to use the freely given something.

Regarding the Freak-out at Ground Zero

The one covered here.

Please be aware that in NYC, the behavior of the crowd of rabble-rousers in relation to the black man, is at best really close to a hate crime.

It's also really close to, if not outright, menacing and even assault.

Leave it to Republicans to demagogue lynch-mob behavior into occurring on the streets of NYC.

First, and foremost, this is Pamela Geller's fault. You can read about her at Alter.net. You can also read about her co-conspirators in racist demagoguery Robert Spencer and attorney David Yerushalmi in that story.

David Yerushalmi is choice, my friends.

That's politics.

You're welcome.

Regarding the Cordoba House

Don't reject your freedoms.

That's what these events are saying. It's not that any one person is saying it; it's the events that speak. People don't seem to see that.

Rejecting freedoms can't end well.

It's not so much, in this case, that people are giving up freedom in the sense Benjamin Franklin warned about; but that people are rejecting freedoms.

That rejection cannot end well.

That's politics.

You're welcome.

Dirty Tricks: COINTELPRO

Just a brief reminder, given what the Swedes attempted to do to Julian Assange.

In it, I will ask the reader to follow the bouncing ball, and yeah, I'm cherry picking:

First it was Rick Lazio, now, it's Carl Paladino

NY candidate: Prison dorms for welfare recipients

NEW YORK - Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino said he would transform some New York prisons into dormitories for welfare recipients, where they would work in state-sponsored jobs, get employment training and take lessons in [emphasis added]"personal hygiene."

Paladino, a wealthy Buffalo real estate developer popular with many tea party activists....

Maybe he should hook up with Andre Bauer:

"My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed. You're facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don't think too much further than that. And so what you've got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don't know any better," Bauer said. [...]

Later in his speech, Bauer said, "I can show you a bar graph where free and reduced lunch has the worst test scores in the state of South Carolina," adding, "You show me the school that has the highest free and reduced lunch, and I'll show you the worst test scores, folks. It's there, period."

Batshit Americana, folks. Batshit Americana.

That's politics.

You're welcome.

Julian Assange, of WikiLeaks, goes to Sweden and....

...is almost immediately charged with rape.

Please to begin expressing how surprised you are.

Regarding Harry Reid

I just sent him this via a web form at his reid.senate.gov site:

"[Regarding] Reid's comments on the community center in lower Manhattan:

That was an incredibly dumb thing to say.

I find it incredible, yet unsurprising, that a sitting majority leader needs a refresher course on The Constitution.

Can you imagine the dissonance I feel as I contemplate what people like Harry Reid have done to this country?

But the alternative appears to be the likes of Sharon Angle. I guess that means Reid can just shoot of his mouth in any old way and direction he wants, because what are people like me going to do? Vote him out of office? Yeah, right.

In closing: STOP TALKING!! "

Color me pissed. All he had to do was keep his fool mouth shut.

The waiting is over

For your viewing pleasure, the image depicting the astroturf dispute over the community center in lower NYC:

Interesting article on Botnets

The weekend is almost here....

....and Breitbart, covered by Faux News "reporting" on a rogue group of BMWs, escapes resorting to the "I was punked!" excuse.

Not that he didn't dance toward it.

But there are some lines a man just can't cross. It's an integrity thing.
