It looks to me that Prop 8 will easily be upheld by the California Supreme Country. Justice Kennard who concurred with the majority last year in the "Marriage Cases" is leading the charge for the side upholding the amendment. They ought to call this the Kennard show; she is literally monopolizing the entire hearing with her commentary. She clearly has no intention of voting to overturn Prop 8 and looks like she is running for higher office.
Harder to bet on whether they invalidate the existing 18,000+ marriages, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
All of the lawyers so far look good except for the unprepared and completely in over his head representative of Attorney General's Office. They are eating him alive.

Our truly fearless leader yesterday said it might be time to start buying stocks. Even though the market closed slightly lower yesterday, it is rallying today.
Now one day, or part of day at this point, doesn't mean Jack Diddly, but if we start to slowly edge up here over the coming weeks and months, I wonder if all those self-proclaimed geniuses like Jim Cramer will eventually get around to calling it the "Obama Bottom"?
You know the ones who say with impunity that the POTUS is destroying the markets. Cramer's TSCM stock price has plummeted and I am guessing his TV show ratings have as well. Time to blame "the Man" then, huh Jim? The fact that the market has been a plunging knife for the last 15 months doesn't have anything to do with it. It is all Obama's fault that your 401k is now a 201k, right Jim Cramer?
I despise all of Wall Street with such a passion especially the talking heads like Kernan, Kudlow, Cabruso-Cabrera, and Cramer (alliteration?).
These same enablers to the powerful who caused all this carnage are now going to lead us out of the morass. CNBC and Joe Kernan actually had the former CEO of AIG on the air yesterday to explain to all of us suckers how the government is screwing up the unwinding of all the phony CDS transactions he was responsible for at AIG, and on top of that the guy is suing AIG (i.e. the US Taxpayer) Chutzpah on steroids.
