Palin Pick Leaves Bruised Feelings
By Anne E. Kornblut
DENVER -- Though it was high in shock value, the Palin pick left
bruised feelings among the short-list contenders who were not picked --
and infuriated some Republican officials who privately said McCain had
gone out on a limb, unnecessarily, without laying the groundwork for
such an unknown. Two senior Republican officials close to Mitt Romney
and Tim Pawlenty said they had both been rudely strung along and now "feel manipulated."
"They now know that they were used as decoys, well after McCain had
decided not to pick them," one Republican involved in the process said.

The Fear Factor -- Obama is too inexperienced to be President. Think of every voter over 50 who had previously told Gallup or Rasmussen they were supporting McSame. Think about the main reason they said that. That reason has now been effectively eviscerated. How many of that demographic are now sitting dumbfounded realizing they just sat through 6 weeks of attack ads that John McSame sounding like Emily Littela now says: "Never mind".

The fabulous part about this pick is the Fargo accent right next to the grumpy old man.
I can see the movie now with Frances McDormand as the ethically challenged GILF campaigning with Grandpa played by Harve Presnell. Yah sure-youbetcha!

Is Mittens actually relieved he wasn't picked? Now when McCain gets shellacked and gets sent to the dustbin of history, he's got a pretty clear shot at 2012. Romney/Pawlenty?
What is their motivation for getting John McCain elected, and how hard will they work to do that?

Poor Mittens and Pawly. Once fabulous speech and your VP dreams go up in smoke.
Sarah Palin. McCain's knee jerk response to the speech the destroyed his Presidential Bid.

The real question is does she get indicted along with Young and Stevens before election day.

Attack, repeat attack!!! Obama needs to destroy John McCain. Everything from senility to misogynism to cronyism and Keating---the kitchen sink. Just linking him to Bush is insufficient, and it clearly isn't working. This may be the first NEGATIVE convention "bounce" in history.
The rightwing mainstream media are countering every positive image coming out of Denver with Republican smears. Time to get in the gutter, Barack. That's where the slimeballs live. Exterminate the vermin once and for all!
