No one is saying that Joe Wilson can't disagree with the President. But you don't lose your cool and call the President of the United States a liar in the halls of Congress. Wilson was totally disrespectful and unbecoming of a US Congressman. He must have lost his bearings and thought he was at a contrived town hall meeting. There were young children watching and listening and Wilson's behavior is not a lesson for young children or anyone interested in civility in government to receive. Wilson should resign or be censored by his colleagues.

Hikus, thanks for the follow-up. I took offense to Henry (or any reporter) because he wasn't asking a question, he was conducting a cross-examination. He cut the Prez off in mid sentence had a smirk on his face and was really full of himself as in I have the mike, so I have the power. I don't like those pitbull tactics period whether the [victim]is the president, an athlete, or the person next door. It was a got ya moment where the person perpetrating the got ya, was got.

Hikus, where is your proof that you are pro-Obama. It's certainly not in your posts or comments which are non-existence. So therefore the jury is still out on that claim.

As for Henry, many of us are tired of reporters' got you moment when their intent is more to grandstand than get an answer to a question. Henry's actions bordered on being disrespectful and the President rightfully placed him in check!

Dickday, I needed to replenish after the election, so I haven't been as active. However, watching the GOP and clueless reporters self-destruct is serving to re-energize me.

And yes the press conferences are good entertainment when journalists try to upstage the new Prez at the risk of being made to look foolish and inapt. Did someone again mention the name, Ed Henry? :-)
