Just Heard Jim Baker on the Today Show refere to Hillary Clinton as Center Right--What!!!!

I have an Activist High School Fiend thet knows William Ayers, does that make him a terrorist, what about me--for that matter what about all of Professor Ayers Students.

I also wonder why so many conservatives with their current bankrupt thinking on the Sunday morning talk shows.

Now REpubs and Conservatives want to keep the Bushes tax breaks in place, now what does a rich person do with excess money, of coarse invest it in the stock market, more money there then expanding a business, well that was true until recently. I have wondered what happen with the concept that you make money in the stock market through dividens. The current thinking of making money through riseing stoock prices. SO where is the incentive to make money through selling products and service, the big managers are only concerned with driving stock prices up by increasing productivity and reduceing empolying salaries and benifits

Just wondering what would happen when W decides that he is still president on January 21 2009.

I went for hip sugery last Monday (9/18/2006) and went home an hour later with two less toenails, the fun of life. For the curious a precaution because of a fungus problem.

The will try again Oct 2.

The office has provided several of us with surplus computers, the one they gave me was bare bones software, no serious word processor such as Word or Word Perfect, no games, no internet card.

But it works.

The new Studio Control Room has been turned on and it works, except for that mic cord that was recieving an FM radio station. We aren't doing much as our staff is down to six full time TV people, with two out of town on a network thing, and soon a new Manager.

I get it now. The only way Dubya can get convictions is with the kangaroo courts as the methods of incarceration and questioning appear to be beyond out law.

That great, I thought repubs were for good law enforcement. 9/11 attacks could have just been simple murder charges, now it appears they would go free in our regular court system.

Oh, by the way, what is all this lost inocents, seems everytime something bad hapens we hear that.

9/11 or what is left of my birthday.

I have been out a couple of days with some oral surgery.

Has anyone rasied the issue of court trials for some of the new gitmo prisoners. It seems to me that they are accused of being involved with the 9-11 thing.

Well why do we need third world military tribunals, what is wrong using civilian courts state and federal. If convicted the death penalty awaits.

I hate to say it but this easily boils down to simple mass murder, and civilian courts can deal with that.

Why does Bush say we need military tribunals to bring them to justice. That sounds like the death penalty and no chance of possible aquital or lower sentences, as would be the case in civial courts.

It sound like a third world way to the death penalty, and that does not sound like America (USA).

Our engineers finally have our new control working, but not dedicated.

So we used it today and recieve great audio, on tape, from a radio station. Bad mic cable.

Now Bush says we knew Hitlers intentions before hand. But everything I have read recently says he fooled everyone untill he invaded Poland.

How many lies and deceptions does he think the people will take before having an adverse reaction.

Just wondering if the world would be better off if we had completely ignored N. Korea's missile event.

If we had ignored it, wouldn't that have shown them nobody cares and adverted a crisis.

It has been awhile. Our TV station continues under renovations. Notably the control room. Ever couple of weeks an engineer or two show up and spend a few days working on things.

We have a much needed change in station management. Last week a visiting director was denied things she needed for a show for stupid reasons.

So what exactly did the New York Times do to upset the Repulicans class of never wrong.

All they did was tell the truth as best they knew it.

We have progressed from the fast moving world of TV news to the almost non moving world of what ever is next.

Kind of hard to type with a sliced up finger. The finger heals as I and my colleagues sit doing nothing waiting for engineers to finish our new control room.

No engineers on station to do any work.

May 10 we finished doing our big forty person production. I got to do live camera and worked a show where two thirds of it was on my camera. Not bad, only one on air error, mostly because I misunderstood a director by half a second.

This was followed by a in studio production (useing our networks control room truck.)

As usual managment deemed me meanless and sent me home, just minuets before the catered meal--now how cruel can they get.

Enough.

Yesterday on a major organization production I became dehydrated and useless.

I fairly quickly recovered and was able to finish out my work.

Today I took a light duty day as the receptionist (and only one in the building, the rest out on a continue large scale live remote production.)

Light duty my foot. The elavator alarm went off and would not silence itself.

Called management and they said we still had a service contract, even though several months ago they told me it had been canceled.

So I call the elavator company and they said we owed about $500. So in a flurry of calls I got our accounting department to pay the bill. And a technician showed up.

Meanwhile, Our political operative showed up for a tour. Then another upper level manager showed up. I was told to expect the president of the company to arrive shortly.

Then a delivery of rental gear for a big project.

So I had the president of our organizations ear for about 20 minutes as I conducted a tour. Just me and him, I wonder what the manager who hates me thinks of this. I was quite nice.

The president said how professional our office now looks. Renovations continue.

I had to tell our president that I had no keys to show him some rooms he wanted into. I still do not have the internal master key or even a key to my own office.

Enough said for now. Seven am call in the morning.

Carpet and tiles are mostly in. The new TV control room is underway with Lord only knows how much equipment. $100,000 alone for the video switcher.

Mangers took away all my internal keys and then get bent out of shape when I cannot properly return a camera to the equipment room because the door was lock.

Starting tommorrow we have a massive remote set up in a village far, far away.

The renovation sort of continues. Nothing has happened since the new carpet went down.

Well our last reporter writer left us for a nearby TV station where she can do real work.

The new TV control room is just barely under construction. Many racks for future equipment are in, but no equipment to put in them.

The studio has new curtains and dimmers. Our gods gift to TV decided architectural control was the way to go since it made managers happy by ease of turning the thing on. No thought to making changes or doing cues.

My only assignment is to record the process, not easy when I have no idea what is happening, and no one tells me of things that are.

So I sit here and watch the pluff mud rise and fall with the tide and wonder if I can net any shrimp today from our office ramp to the water.

Now, how do I deal with a possible substance abuser in my change of command.

For now I keep the mouth shut.

Gee office politics.  I am at a very small TV station that has only one other production person on staff.  I talked to an electrician who was installing our new dimmer system, gave him some tidbits that  I am the only one on staff knows about our electrics and I was promptly order never to go in the studio--oh well.

 Of coarse my assignment to record our renovations rappidly over ran that stupid order--and then a serious back focus problem--"and so it goes".

I have pretty much recovered from my fall of a couple of weeks ago.

So as I deal with dumb things and recovery I was just wondering if Dick Cheny shot anyone else, or did he give up hunting?

For those that listen seriously to scanners his hunting trips can be uncovered, I did that here about a year ago--but he went to an area Plantation I had never heard of.  No know causalties to humans.

Gee I am not a construction worker, nor anyone else on staff. All though I am a production person with set constrution in my resume

However our managers have been having us remoldel the building. 

We are doing tasks that, that should go to contractors, such as painting the building, a non government look blue, taking out the old rugs and finishing the doors.

Which goes to explaining how I tripped and fell on Feb 27.  Not sure how I did it, but I tripped over a sawhorse  leg and crashed into a concret floor.  Workers comp comes in to view here.

 Jan  and a tech school staffer came and help me up.  Injuries to right foot, left knee, lower back and today lower left rib cage.

Gosh isn't being a government worker fun, and cheap.
