Where's Al Gore?
I've seen both Clintons on the trail, Sen. Kerry, Gov. Richardson, and Gov. Rendell on television, and Sen. Webb cutting a radio spot promoting the Obama-Biden ticket -- where's Al Gore? Or have I just been missing him?

Gore is campaigning for down-ballot races, which also need help. He was in Minnesota recently for Franken, and will be in Seattle next week for Governor Chris Gregoire, who is in a tough re-election fight against a massively financed Republican opponent.

I'm a big fan of Al Gore, but I was thinking he might have decided to stay out of politics because he thinks he wasn't very good at it (don't get excited, just an idea, is all . . . ). He does seem to be doing a world of good in his work on environmental issues.

You're right, we haven't seem him really since the convention. But I'm not sure he could help Obama at this point. The Dem base doesn't need rallying and I don't know that Gore would help that much with swing voters. Probably better that he work below the radar.

Al Gore is coming to Oregon on the 24th to help Jeff Merkley. We are really on the bubble in the Oregon Senate race--I think all the polls are still within the MoE.

Al Gore also raised nearly a million dollars for Obama the night of the debate at Belmont University in Nashville.
BTW, after the debate, the Obamas and Howard Dean showed up, and Barack gave a quick, upbeat speech, and shook hands for about 20 minutes-- complete opposite of McCain, who went back tohis hotel and curled up.
Gore is doing whatever the Obama Campaign wants him to do.

FOR REAL!! Where IS Al Gore? He should be out in front defending ACORN and calling bull$hit on the GOP for their Voter Suppression.
Al Gore = FLA = 300+ Suppressed Votes = W for 8 Years
He's the poster child to fight their systematic intimidation and fraud.
