Not only is he despicable, he wasn't even tortured. He was their go-to collaborator. Go watch the video on YouTube with him lying in a hospital bed, clean, bandaged and smoking a cigarette and ask yourself what would have been the point of giving him such excellent care, better even than that which was provided to the Vietnamese soldiers, if their intent was to send him back to prison and torture him. Oh, no, JohnnyMac gave them everything they wanted in exchange for preferential treatment. Google "Songbird McCain" and start to understand the strange and twisted career of John McCain.
