Bruce Dern is perhaps most widely respected for his work as Captain Bob Hyde in 1978's Coming Home, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. It his work in 1989's The 'Burbs, however, that I believe history will ultimately render his greatest achievement.
