Appreciation
Thank you, Barak Barack Hussein Obama.
Thank you for your courage, your strength, your tenacity. You've never given up on us even when we've given you reason. You've never strayed from the course despite our demands that you change direction. You've never forgotten to dream, to hope ... while we've been engaged in petty bickering. You've never lost sight of the vision of a better tomorrow, a better country for us all.
Thank you.

Well, I'll second that!

You hiding out, tonight? We'll know in 3 days...I'm a mess, how are you holding up?

Hiding out? No, don't think so. If you mean the late hour hour - it just is what it is.
I'm feeling rather calm, actually. We're going to do it, and I really do thank him for that.

Wow, Melissa (and Good morning, Still) --
What a crystal clear summation of a clear-sighted man.
How has he had the strength to withstand the backseat driving of his well-meaning, but anxious supporters?
Jade wrote a good summary of election anxiety. Have y'all read it yet?
I can't stay as I have to get a few hours sleep. But I wanted to thank you both (!) for the birthday wishes and emails.
Love to you both,
Wendy

The stark contrast between McCain and Obama? I gurantee you only one of those men can, after the election, look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the campaign they have run.

*Barack* has been remarkably steady.
(at least you can edit it)

Thanks, Donal. I'll try to pay more attention to what my fingers are typing in the future. ;)
