Hi there, come on in.  Sox, I know you're glad to be home but please get down.  Forgive her, she can't help it - she missed you all so much!  So did I, if you don't mind my saying so.  I know!  I think so too, in fact he may be around here somewhere.  I'll take all the help I can get.  Thank you, Matt, for respecting the streak. 

What?  No!  I didn't hear about that!  Tell me more!  I've really been gone too long, words have floated overhead and their meaning lost in the middle.  What's the bottom line?

Avatars are back, that's a very good sign. 

MSNBC is re-broadcasting their "Today Show", etc. programming from 9/11/01.  I thought I could watch, some kind of backward fascination, I guess.  I was terribly wrong.  It's been so long, they have the right to re-broadcast - why does it feel so wrong for them to do so?  God, it hurts so much, even all these years later.  Seven years.  Yet, only an instant in terms of the heart.  Mine, anyway.  They've billed it as "As It Happened".  They are showing it all - including the planes hitting the towers.  I'm falling apart.  Yes, the channel has been changed - the tears have been wiped.  The heart is still an open sore. 

Hi there, come on in.  Thought I'd stop by tonight and pick up a few things ... I miss the comfort of my pillows on the floor.  And my friends.  I'll be back for good soon enough.
