Dreams...real or imagined?

I'm fading.  Beyond my contr....

I don't understand.  If it is so wrong to kill someone, what gives twelve people on a jury and a judge the right to kill you?

People often quote the Bible.  Oh, so aggravatingly often, with nothing more substantial.  "Eye for an eye" sort of thing.  What about "Judge not yet ye be judged", or "Vengence is Mine, sayeth the Lord".

If my loved one were murdered, you can bet your ass I'd want the perpetrator dead.  No doubt, no second thought.  I would do it myself in a heartbeat.  And that is exactly why we need laws.  To sometimes protect us from ourselves.  The need to defend against vigilante justice.  The world would go crazy, if not.

But, if I can not take the life of someone who took my precious family member or friend for no reason, if I can not make that decision on my own... why are twelve strangers allowed to?  And if I say FUCK YOU and take that worthless life, why then are twelve people and a judge allowed to take mine? 

Of his latest remarks...it causes me physical pain to write this, but I (UGH) believe his excuse.  At least, I believe he believes it.

WTF? My last posted reply was around 3:30 AM this morning.  My watch currently says 11:56 PM.

Help! I've been out of touch in International waters for the last six days.  I was able to check into CNN once in awhile - but curiously heard nothing about FISA - but was unable to check the internet.  Huge withdrawal pains.  In the last two hours I have poured over blogs, hence the latest "info" (aka opinion) on FISA.

Anything else I need to know in a nutshell?
