Truer words were ne'er spake: We will lose the war in Afghanistan without more troops
So says Stanley McChrystal, the Decider General, who is, coincidentally, the same man who chose to cover up the Pat Tillman friendly fire incident. It would seem that Stanley is like the man who gave him his third star, George W. Bush: He only tells the truth on the occasion that it is advantageous to do so.
Of course, let's not forget the flip side of that statement: We will lose the war in Afghanistan WITH more troops, too.

Did you forget that Obama placed him in charge of the Afghanistan war? So was that an example of Obama's incompetence, picking such a bad choice? Hmmm...? This is Obama's war now, if it's lost he is the one that will get the credit for losing it.

The Toothless Chihuahua yelps again. To no real effect other than annoyance, as usual.

Geithner. Summers. McChrystal.
Obama's theory is that we learn from our mistakes, and the more mistakes we've made the more we must have learned.

I thought you "rip-their-toenails-off-and waterboard-em-within-an-inch-of-death" republican types loved McChrystal.

I am not faulting the General, just pointing out that the author was attacking the man Obama picked for the job as unqualified. If he IS so bad, I just pointed out that that would be an Obama error, picking someone unqualified.

Your 'attack' or whatever you want to call it on moi is simply laughable.
I never claimed Obama was perfect, infallible or even my first choice for President. But he was the only person qualified for the job who was still running last November.
See...the difference between Dining Room Tables and the rest of us is this: We allow ourselves to criticize that which we deem criticism-worthy. George W. Bush never allowed that, and his minions obeyed him. All the while he attacked two countries with no discernible or discreet improvement of the situation.
And the Republican Party is, as a direct result, a complete joke.
Parse THAT.

I see the troll gets his jollies from Democrats/liberals/Obama supporters' criticisms of Obama. Pathetic. Truly pathetic.
This is Bush's war. So is Iraq. Somalia was Poppy Bush's war; he dumped it in Clinton's lap. Both were/are time bombs.
It's the Bush Crime Family's specialty! And only neocon nutjobs would ever try to blame these Bush disasters on the NEXT President.

Obama campaigned on the necessity of the Afghan war. He blamed Bush for focusing on Iraq instead of Afghanistan where he said the war on terror should be focused.

That's the last word on this subject. Really. You got nothin'.
