Your really mean Sam Butera, and not Sal Butera. You can re-edit this post in "Blog Now!" to reflect this.
I grew up in Las Vegas, and my parents were big fans of Louis Prima. For my tenth birthday, I got to stay up late, and watch a Louie Prima lounge show from backstage, then meet them all after the show. Yeah Sam Butera was cool.

You're welcome. Here's another video you'll probably enjoy.
When I was growing up, and had taken enough piano lessons that my parents allowed me to choose my own instrument, somewhat to their consternation, I chose percussion. They still located a competent teacher through the Vegas Musician's Union though. To me, Joe Morello was the cat who was just too cool. Here's Brubeck, Desmond, Wright and Morello, helping to win the Cold War by Taking the A Train.
