Working on Rec Lists
We did some maintenance on rec lists yesterday, and we are investigating residual issues. Are you noticing anything out of the ordinary with rec lists?
Edit: I'm referring to master rec lists on EC/Muck/TV/Cafe, not personal rec lists. I think all should be fixed now, but I'm still on the lookout for weirdness.

My own rec list was not up to date this morning. I took Artappraiser's advice and posted a test comment to my last blog and then the list updated.

I do not know if what I'm going to describe is expected behavior; but I suspect not, so here goes:
When I'm editing a blog entry, a javascript-fueled window opens in another tab with debugging information. Nothing about it is fatal to the blog entries; so it's just a case of weirdness, at worst.
Here's a sample url and content from the entry "test post":

All looks good to me Al. But on a completely separate issue, can we pretty, pretty please be allowed to post more than 2 links in a comment without being beaten down by the mysterious spam filter? ;)

Hey Al. Everything's pretty much good on this end, so thanks guy.
Only weirdness I've seen (outside of the content produced by all of us), is that the whole main Readers Page seemed to freeze up late yesterday, and didn't refresh until this morning. Was this a system-wide issue, or just me?
Ta.

Master rec lists look good as far as I can tell. Mine still screwed up, and am still unable to set up any "follows" but am assuming that is on your list... :-)

That was a little premature...the #s are still off...CT's post has about 135 comments and 18 rec's vs. the many, many fewer ones shown on the master list...

which post are you talking about? can you give me a link?

sorry to not get back to you sooner, Al...was away for awhile. The post I referred to fell off the rec list shortly after I mentioned it. i did a check of everything up now, and all is well...just a fluke, I guess.
As to my personal problems...continuing on both fronts...rec's not updating, and inability to begin following. Thanks, I know you have a full plate.

All I can add to this may be idiosyncratic to my pc. I was having trouble with rec's and there are delays from time to time.
But I really just stopped in again to thank you for keeping tabs. This site really cares about the people who participate here.
I love this site.

This is not for rec lists. But it's a problem I just noticed.
When I click on closetluddite, I see myself as "following." But when I click on "followers" all I see is you, Al. I'm not there!
I wonder if others here are not having followers show up.
As for recs, closetluddite rec'd my blog in words - but it's not showing up in numbers.
Just a strange thing I noticed.
